The Diplomatic Council (DC) is a United Nations (UN) registered global Think Tank founded with the objective to serve as a bridge between diplomacy, economy and society. 

A thriving economy bringing prosperity to mankind is one of the best guarantor for peace. As members the Diplomatic Council welcomes not solely members of the diplomatic or consular corps but also personalities from industry, politics, society, culture and sports. Diplomatic Council Summer Event 2016

This year the Diplomatic Council Summer Event was held on July 4th at the Romantik Schlosshotel Rettershof in Kelkheim. 

International diversity at the DC Summer Celebration 

Art and culture, fashion and food, automobile technique and extraordinary awards, festive moments, celebrating, networking and business – this year’s DC Summer Celebration was one of the most diversified and most international summer celebration in the last 5 years since the Diplomatic Council’s inception.

 

Diplomatic New Year Celebration 2015/2016

At the wonderful Hotel Hessischer Hof in Frankfurt, the DC New Years Celebration was held on January 25th 2016.  We were present with our two electric converted three-wheelers: 1x Sri Lanka three-wheeler and 1x Thailand three-wheeler.

Diplomatic Council Summer Celebration 2015 with festive inauguration of H.E. Ambassador Nongnuth Phetcharatana of Thailand as the new DC President.

A memorable evening with speeches from Founding President Buddhi Athauda, Secretary General Hang Nguyen and President Nongnuth Phetcharatana.

The entertaining program comprising:

The Cost of Air Pollution. Health Impacts Of Road Transport.

Outdoor air pollution kills more than three million people across the world every year, and causes health problems from asthma to heart disease for many more. This is costing OECD societies plus People’s Republic of China and India an estimated USD 3.5 trillion dollars a year in terms of the value of lives lost and ill health, and the trend is rising. But how much of the cost of those deaths and health problems is due to pollution from cars, trucks and motorcycles on our roads? Initial evidence suggests that in OECD countries, road transport is likely responsible for about half the USD 1.7 trillion total.
